Plain-language government: Eckert will seek plain-English descriptions and estimated costs for county agenda items exceeding $5,000.

Meeting access: Eckert will push for automatic transcripts of county meetings and, until that is implemented, send opt-in recap emails describing what happened, what it cost, and what comes next.
