Where they stand

Fiscal stewardship: Del Valle believes the Board should carefully examine staffing, administration, programs, and major expenditures while protecting effective programs and directing resources toward the greatest impact on students.

Enrollment and facilities: Del Valle believes Neptune should reassess how it uses facilities and other resources in light of declining enrollment and substantially underused schools.

Facilities planning: Del Valle supports studying facility use, making costs transparent, protecting educational quality, and developing a long-term facilities plan rather than automatically closing schools.
