Where they stand

Families first: Wilkerson believes families have primary responsibility for their children's education and that School Board decisions should prioritize Norfolk families.

Accountability: Wilkerson believes all participants in the educational process—including board members, administrators, teachers, parents, and students—should be held accountable.

Transparency: Wilkerson supports making Norfolk's School Board operations transparent by treating an "open-book" approach as the default, including on classroom activity, spending, and decision-making.
